Approximately three and a half years ago, our store made the decision to have a high impact sales event. Keep in mind, that this is when we THOUGHT that the economy and our industry had slowed down. Wow! What we’ve seen and learned since that time. At that point in time, we made the decision to use one of your competitors for that event. Although they met sales goals that were set beforehand, nothing else about that event was enjoyable. In short, our attitude was NEVER AGAIN!! (Unless we absolutely had to, of course.)
With those thoughts in mind, we approached another such sales event with great hesitation and concern. Yes, we needed to raise cash and clear out inventory for various reasons (slow times, remodeling, remerchandising, etc.), but we were very concerned about the potential impact that this would have on our business once your sales staff left us behind to move on to new ventures.
Now that the event is complete, I look back on it and simply say WOW! What a difference in how this sale went off. I attribute the success of our sale, during extremely tough economic conditions, to the attitude and professionalism of your sales staff and organization from the top to bottom. Our Sales Conductor was Robert Putt. Robert provided outstanding leadership and direction during the event. He met concerns from my dad and me, as well as from our long-term sales associates, head on and determined winning solutions to issues and concerns that worked brilliantly for all involved. There was not a single instance of damage control that had to be addressed before, during, or after the sale.
I leave this event in the past now wondering how long do I have to wait to run another Lynch Sales event, and will Robert and his crew be available to participate? I have already recommended your company to other friends in the industry. Thanks for your help during a time when this is exactly what we needed.
