We have just wrapped up a very successful Store Closing Sale at our Buckhead Store under the direction of Tom McDonald, your ace Sales Consultant. It was the most productive sale of the several productive Lynch sales we have held in the past eight years, in a very challenging business climate.

Tom worked seven days every week an average of 12 hours per day. He has the same interest and sense of responsibility that a storeowner should have. We worked closely on everything from advertising budgets, strategy, media choices, expenses, control and personnel needs.

The designer/sales consultants on Tom’s team are the best I’ve ever seen as a group. Carl, Judy, Angelia and Margo are real pros and all have very strong selling and design skills that enabled them to work very nicely with our high-end clientele. Any of them could become top producers in our company. We all have felt a sense of loss since they left the store for the final time.

The real surprise in our sale was the tremendous success of the area rugs that your people brought in. We sold over $700,000 in the rugs. Andy Ingle, the on-site rug sales manager, is great. He worked very hard and obviously is good at what he does. He fit right in with our staff and we enjoyed having him as well.
