Our organization recently held a remodeling liquidation event here in Richmond and Charlottesville, Virginia. This type of promotional event is not particularly consistent with our program’s culture, but in today’s current business climate we’re trying some different things!

The purpose of my letter is to commend the work of the managers you assigned to our stores: Kent Bolt; Warren Channel and Lee Nordgren. These guys were nothing but professional, obviously very business minded and focused on positive results for our promotion. We even achieved our budgeted goal after cutting the event short by one full week due to circumstances beyond our control.

I also wanted to mention that one of our concerns going into an event of this nature was how outside conductors (as well as salespersons) would interact with our own management and sales staff. I can honestly say I didn’t hear of a single issue in any store. Frankly, it was a much more positive experience than I (we) expected. These guys served us well and we appreciate their efforts and direction through this event.
