Dear Jud,

After 80 years of serving Central Iowa with fine home furnishings, The Artis Family wanted to celebrate my grandfather’s opening of our business. As you are aware, this was our third Sales event run by your Company. The remodeling Sale, The Relocation Sale and now the Anniversary Sale all were unique and wonderfully handled by your most capable staff.

I would like to thank you for assigning Don and Carol Ashford as the key people to run the sale. We achieved our goals for the 5-week promotion. This was done with an uncertain buying public. We had a dramatic flood in the state with billions of dollars worth of damage and no way to predict what was going to happen. Carol has to be one of the finest sales people we have had from your company. Don was so great with help and direction of our sales staff, which of course was the driving force behind the event.

It is so wonderful to be able to put one’s trust in your company and the entire staff of the Lynch organization. Dick Dickason, as always, helped us with the proper timing and product selection. He is an expert in his field, and I compliment him and his rug people for their efforts and the display they provided.

My family and I will look forward to our next promotion in the coming years with the Lynch Company as our leaders. You have to be so very proud of the fine people in your employ.
